Video Equipment Repair

Processor, light source and light cable repair

One call covers the rest of your tower. Send us your video processor, light source or light guide cables along with your scopes and we take care of the repair from start to finish.

Video equipment

The rest of the tower, handled

A scope is only half the picture. When the light source stops firing or the processor drops the image, the room goes down just as fast as it does with a damaged scope — and chasing a separate vendor for every box on the cart costs you days you do not have.

So we take it off your plate. Send us your video processor, light source or light guide cables and we take care of the repair and get the equipment back to you. One point of contact, one shipment, one invoice — alongside the scopes you are already sending us.

Tell us the make, model and what it is doing when you call, and we will confirm what we can do before you ship anything.

What we take in

Three pieces, one call

If it lives on the cart and feeds your scope, ask us about it.

Video processors

No image or intermittent image, dropout, color and white balance faults, damaged inputs and connectors, and power supply problems.

Light sources

No output or dim output, lamp and LED module replacement, thermal and fan faults, turret and shutter problems, and power supply repair.

Light guide cables

Light transmission loss, broken fibers and dark spots, damaged connectors and adapters, and jacket or strain relief damage.

Not listed? Call 888-845-0940 or email cs@newvisionendoscopy.com and we will tell you straight away whether we can help.

Symptoms that point at the tower, not the scope

  • The image is dim with more than one scope
  • Brightness changes when the cable is wiggled
  • A visible dark patch in the field that moves with the cable
  • Color casts or white balance that will not hold
  • The light source runs hot, cycles its fan, or shuts down
Before you blame the scope

Not sure whether it is the scope or the tower?

A dark image is the classic example. It can be a scope with a tired fiber bundle, a light cable that has lost half its fibers, or a light source at the end of its lamp life — and from the OR they all look identical.

The fastest way to find out is to stop guessing and send the pieces in together. Ship the scope and the cable, tell us which light source you are running, and we will isolate where the light is actually being lost instead of you replacing parts one at a time.

That is usually the cheaper answer too. A cable is a fraction of the cost of a scope overhaul, and it is worth knowing which one you actually need.

How it works

Same process as your scopes

  1. Tell us what you have

Make, model and what it is doing. We confirm what we can do before you ship anything, so nothing travels for no reason.

  2. Ship it in

On its own or in the same box as your scopes. We confirm the receiving address first and log it in when it lands.

  3. Quoted, repaired, returned

You get a quote and approve it before any work starts. Then it comes back to you, and you deal with one company throughout.

Send the scope and the cable together

It is the quickest way to find out where the light is actually going — and usually the cheapest.
