Our story

A family business that never outgrew its principles

New Vision Endoscopy was established in Illinois in 1997 and relocated to Texas in 2001. We are still family-owned, and we still run on the same small-business belief we started with: every customer is important. What has changed is capability. Over nearly three decades we have built out lab after lab. Today we are a full-service operation with both an optical repair lab and a refiber lab in-house, covering flexible, rigid, semirigid and specialty endoscopes.

Our staff and expert technicians bring over 150 years of collective technical experience to the bench. That experience is why we can take on the reverse-angle, magnetic-adjustment, 1.9 mm work that other shops decline — and why customers started calling us The Endoscope Specialists.

Optical inspection, refiber work and laser welding all happen in our San Antonio facility.

Milestones

How the labs came together

Each expansion brought another step of the repair process in-house.

1997New Vision Endoscopy is founded in Illinois as a family-owned endoscope repair business.
2001The company relocates to San Antonio, Texas.
2002Refiber lab opens, bringing tubing and fiber bundle replacement in-house.
2003Semirigid lab opens — the start of our specialty small-diameter work.
2005Rigid lab expands to include operating and offset scopes.
2022Flexible scope repair lab opens, completing the four-lab operation.

Quality

High quality, OEM-compatible components rebuilt to OEM specification, verified through a multi-point inspection with multiple QC checkpoints. We do not use shortcuts and we do not pass salvage optics off as new.

Integrity

You get a written quote before work starts, and we tell you when a scope has been modified by a previous vendor — even when that news costs us the job.
